No.2 Rosebank Court is one of five quirky houses built in the grounds of a mid 17th century mansion called Rosebank House, which is one of the oldest inhabited houses in Donaghadee. The property is a short five minute walk to the town centre or to the sea, yet the house is tucked away with a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere and wonderful sea views. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax yet is a great base to visit the local restaurants, bars and shops.
The actual house looks hexagonal and is an “upside down” house to make the most of the views. In early 2016 it was redecorated to a very high standard and has all new furnishings and equipment. Free Wi-Fi is included.
There are two light and elegant bedrooms with comfortable Kingsize beds and plenty of storage. One bedroom has an en suite bathroom with bath. There is also a seperate main bathroom with shower cubicle. Both rooms have sea views and the only sound you will hear is that of the sea.
It's all about the view.... The wooden staircase leads via a half landing to the highlight of the property: the stunning panoramic view from the sitting room. You can sit and watch the boats go by and the sun set in the evening from the comfortable sofas. You can also see the Copeland Islands and even the west coast of Scotland on most days. This is a large, light room with plenty of space for six to sit and relax, to read, to watch TV and to dine or socialise. The kitchen is also located upstairs and has all the facilities that you would expect; oven, dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer. All newly equiped and easy to use.
